FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dale Perry Joins Continental DivideAugust 7, 2003After a nine year run with Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, multi-instrumentalist, Dale Perry, rejoins former Bluegrass Cardinals band mate, David Parmley, as a full time member of Continental Divide. Arguably the finest bass singer in bluegrass today, Dale will hold down the banjo slot and anchor the Continental Divide quartet. Says, Dale of the change, "I enjoyed my tenure with Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver very much, but felt the need to devote more time to my family and other interests which includes my recording studio." Continental Divide's schedule better allows me to do that, while at the same time giving me the opportunity to continue making world class music." Dale wishes Doyle Lawson, the band, and staff continued success in the future.
